Blog Post #2

Okay, so this is the second one. It feels good so far. I’m back at the same coffee shop. It’s called Cafe Volan and its in Asbury Park. I like it here. It feels good to say that. I haven’t been depressed for quite awhile, and I’m grateful to say that shit has been chill for the last 6 months. I started anti-depressants this past December. That and micro-dosing psilocybin&pot and stretching, I mean deep stretching, for hour(s) every night lifted me out of the longest patch of depression I’ve had. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with parkour and have been learning to integrate all the seemingly disparate parts of my personality into what seems like a whole. Learning to love yourself sounds cliche and cheesy and surface level easy, but the truth of that for me is that it continues to be real, long, rewarding and confusing work. How do you love yourself when it’s pretty much impossible to even know yourself? Continuous awareness, changing constantly, kindness and forgives and acceptance, mixed with embracing “I don’t know”

This blog post is chillin’. Im gonna drink my coffee and chill out actually.
